Double C Ranch
What began primarily as a horse training operation has now blossomed into a cow/calf operation, horse riding and training facility, wildlife educational environment, and a place that has hosted thousands of people from school field trips and day camps, to senior citizen fishing outing and corporate training events. Their goal has been to create an environment where any person, of any age, from any background, with any level of education, can be equally entertained and educated while creating a memorable experience that they will go home and tell others about. David & Paige Carter established the Double C Ranch, in Kingston, Mississippi, in the fall of 2006 after moving back home from Baton Rouge where they meet in college at LSU. They both had a love for horses, agriculture, and the great outdoors. They have lived here for 15 year with their three children; son, Coleman, and daughters, Harper and Mary Collins. When not giving tours, playing sports, or engaged in another activity the children love riding the land on horseback, checking cows, going hiking, and simply playing outside. What a fun country life!
